Me: What are you thankful for?
Nug: I am NOT thankful for picking up toys. And I am NOT thankful for time outs.
Me: Duder, what are you thankful for?
Duder: Thankful for…Duder!
Nug couldn’t be thankful for anything because she didn’t pick up her toys before bed like she was told. Duder was thankful for himself because well, he is human and we think very highly of ourselves. Oh, children, you tell it like it is.
