A prayer for us

Tonight at dinner, my Awesome Husband asked Nug if she wanted to pray and she did.  Her prayer went something like this:

“Dear Jesus, thank you for food and for family, mommy and daddy are upset because me and Cooper broke the door and Cooper got sent to timeout. Amen.”

I thank God each night for the words my children speak because they speak words I need to hear.  It was just a door and they did need to be disciplined but there is no use hanging onto the “upsetedness” from the situation.
